Cundall’s critical system team have been supporting our clients for many years in designing data centres of all shapes and sizes, from small sites through to 200+MW hyperscale campus’s.
We have built up a strong team of experienced and highly technical engineers to deliver any type of design from concept through to detailed design stage.
Although the main skills in our team are centred around mechanical and electrical design, we also work closely with our in-house specialist teams to deliver fully co-ordinated designs. These Cundall teams include BMS/controls, civil engineering, geotechnical, structural engineering, security, sustainability, fire protection, acoustics and CFD.
Our design managers are integral in helping pull together all these teams as well as integrate external parties such as architects.
We work heavily in the 3D environment with digital engineering to ensure our designs are well co-ordinated. This is key to reducing complication on site and making sure everything works together.
We strive to learn lessons in all we do – from here we improve, prevent mistakes and our client’s benefit from a more co-ordinated and integrated design.
