About Cundall Critical Systems
The Cundall Critical Systems Team was created in 2006, as a specialist team focused on mission critical design, and as an in-house centre of engineering excellence. Since that time, we have worked with our clients to deliver over 1000 MW of data centre capacity.
Our team operates globally with a combined focus on delivering the most energy-efficient, low-emissions, technically robust and socially responsible data centres in the world.
We offer services across the project lifecycle including; SDD, Planning & Feasibility, detailed design services, Construction administration (CA) stage support, Peer review / monitoring, TDD support, Reference design development, Innovation & R&D Support, Critical facility upgrades and extensions. Our CS team includes dedicated design management and power systems teams.
Our project teams also leverage the DC expertise of other disciplines within Cundall including Civil / Geotechnical engineering, Structural engineering, Controls, Security, Sustainability and Acoustics.
The advantage of the integrated Cundall team is we can identify synergies and efficiencies that optimise structure and operations, future-proof for imminent changes to technology and position DC assets to operate as net zero carbon facilities. On every project, we collaborate closely with clients to achieve the highest levels of sustainability and where required, relevant credentials including LEED and BREEAM.
Our established team has won multiple industry awards including Data Centre World Awards 2021 – Green Data Centre of the Year and Special Contribution to Improving Energy Efficiency; Datacloud Global Awards 2021 – Young Digital Leader of the Year; DCD Global Awards 2020 – Hyperscale Data Center Innovation and Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year.
We have collaborated with several data centre equipment vendors, including Excool, Munters, and Iceotope, to provide independent Engineering Reviews of their equipment.
