Strawberry Place communal area for students to work and live

Student Residential

All sectors
We design sustainable student accommodation that minimises the impact on the environment and costs less to run.

Our multi-disciplinary approach delivers both refurbishment and new build student accommodation projects around the world. We are used to working to tight timeframes and budgets.

The market has changed and students expect more from their accommodation. Single studio rooms and renovated rental houses are being replaced by purpose-built residences. These have shared communal social spaces to foster social interaction and boost health and wellbeing.

At Cundall, we have extensive experience meeting the complex challenges of these environments. These include solving overheating and acoustic issues in city centre residences and working within tight planning and financial constraints. We also understand that accommodation must be operationally efficient and provide the comfort and security that students and their parents demand.

Students today are more socially and environmentally aware which is helping to drive a demand for greener, higher quality buildings. We’re also seeing a move towards a campus lifestyle experience, which releases old student homes back into the community.
