This world-class commercial port is one of the largest seaports in the Middle East, spanning an area of 26.5 km2. The development offers expanded general cargo capacity via three container terminals and introduces new sector specific capabilities such as livestock, automobiles, and bulk grain. The port will also host a base for offshore and marine support vessels.

Our team was appointed to provide engineering design, site supervision and quality assurance services. We undertook the compliance testing of engineering and architectural activities for the Modular Disaster Recovery Centre (MDRC), Project Integration Centre (PIC), Automated Gate Master Systems (AGMS), site offices and container terminal WLAN infrastructure.

Gary Dodds, Country Director Qatar commented "The port will act as a catalyst for the country’s trading industry, better positioning Qatar to benefit from the expected regional growth in container and vehicle carrier traffic as well as general cargo traffic."
