Cundall uses its understanding of the operation of critical infrastructure to support our clients in upgrading plant in live buildings

We have worked with many clients who have plant and equipment that needs a capacity upgrade, requires replacement to improve energy efficiency, is at the end of its useful life, or has failed. This work needs detailed consideration and planning as it usually supports loads which must be maintained live throughout the upgrade process.

Cundall’s Critical Systems team have successfully supported clients with mechanical and electrical plant upgrades in many critical environments include trading platforms, data centres, disaster recovery facilities and research centres.

While designing for any client specific requirements, we consider the total cost of ownership (TCO) including the plant phasing strategy, plant replacement, energy efficiency and CAPEX/OPEX costs.

Key fact

Zero carbon options are considered as standard.

Working on live systems is second nature to the way we approach these projects. Understanding client operational and logistical constraints, along with lessons learned underpins our approach to successful design and implementation to achieve the required upgrades.
