Varun Malhotra

My passion for working on unique building projects paved the way for me to come to UAE. After graduating, I worked on one of the biggest airport developments in India and have since diversified my experience on a variety of projects across the residential, commercial, hospitality and rail sectors. In 2019 I was proud to be the Highly Commended Mechanical Engineer of the Year at the MEP Awards Middle East.

I always adopt a methodical way of working and strive to make my design solutions both cost effective and sustainable. This ensures that our clients receive the best possible engineering solutions. I have also made improvements to the way we utilise proprietary software at Cundall, optimising the output information for client submissions.

With a passion for mechanical engineering, I take every available opportunity to mentor young engineers. I believe that each and every engineer needs to push for excellence, working out of their comfort zone to facilitate well-rounded professional growth.
