Success at Lambeth Made Charter Mark Awards 2021

UK and Europe 09 March 2021

Cundall has been awarded Best Work Experience Provider at Lambeth Made Charter Mark Awards 2021. Commended for their work providing internships and mentoring for students over the past five years, Cundall was awarded this accolade in recognition of going above and beyond in supporting Lambeth residents.

Presented by a partnership led by Lambeth Council, the awards recognise exceptional employers and providers who go the extra mile. Cundall was nominated for the award by Lambeth College for the work they do with Career Ready; a charity providing young people an opportunity to kick-start their future.

Cundall has been able to offer two internships every year and has mentored five to six students yearly over the past five years enabling these participants to go forward and secure jobs.

Paul Sperring, Associate Director has been a part of the volunteer organisation for nine years and commented:

“I’ve been volunteering with Career Ready for a long time and it’s an honour to win this award. Along with a number of colleagues at Cundall, I work with students to offer them advice and guidance on their perspective career paths. Knowing we’ve helped so many young people to move on to university, aspire to professionally qualified careers and secure jobs is incredible.”

The awards ceremony took place in March 2021 and highlighted a number of employers who run apprenticeships and work experience opportunities, businesses who have stepped up in the face of Covid-19 to support their local communities and organisations that have gone the extra mile to offer opportunities to those who most need it.
